Associate Attorney
Devin Hinds
Devin Hinds represents tenants in habitability cases, advocating for those living in unsafe or substandard housing conditions throughout California. His practice is rooted in a strong commitment to advocating for those in need and who are often overlooked and marginalized. Devin works to help clients assert their rights, hold landlords accountable, and move toward more secure and stable futures.
In addition to his habitability work, Devin also represents individuals in personal injury matters. He brings the same level of dedication and care to these cases, guiding clients who have suffered serious harm through the legal process and fighting to ensure they receive the compensation they need to move forward.
A Ventura County native, he graduated cum laude and with departmental distinction from California Lutheran University in 2017 and began working as a paralegal at Nielsen, Peterson & Nielsen LLP the following year. He remained with the firm through law school and graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law, bringing years of hands-on legal experience to his role.
Before entering the legal profession, Devin worked at Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families, a treatment facility for foster youth with behavioral and emotional challenges. That experience deepened his passion for helping marginalized individuals and inspired a career focused on advocacy, compassion, and justice.
In his free time, Devin enjoys staying active—whether lifting weights, playing basketball, football, or soccer—and spending time with his family and friends.
