Jonathan Nielsen is a well known and respected trial attorney with extensive experience in litigating and trying a variety of catastrophic personal injury cases involving auto defects, bicyclists and pedestrians.

Prior to founding Nielsen, Peterson & Nielsen LLP, Jonathan successfully ran his own law firm for five years where he successfully went up against and defeated many of the biggest companies in the world. Jonathan brings youthful enthusiasm and hustle to make sure that his clients are protected. He treats his clients like family and treats each of their cases with the personal attention it deserves. Jonathan's legal skills and dedication have led to the recovery of millions of dollars for his clients.

Jonathan was born and raised in Utah and attended the University of Utah where he studied History and Spanish and played on the Men's Volleyball Team. After graduating from the University of Utah, Jonathan attended Pepperdine University School of Law where he obtained his law degree in 2005. He also received a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Pepperdine University Center for Dispute Resolution.

Jonathan passed the California Bar Exam in 2005 and the Utah Bar Exam in 2006. He is licensed to practice in both states as well as Federal District Courts in the Central, Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts of California. Jonathan also holds an active California Real Estate Broker's License.

Jonathan is fluent in Spanish having spent two years living in Bogota, Colombia.

Jonathan enjoys giving back to the community and has volunteered with various teen groups and as a coach for YMCA sports programs. In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys playing and viewing any and all sports and is a devoted husband to Anneli and father to his three children Kalia, Elliana and Knox.
